His name appeared in a dossier of suspected communists after joining a Czechoslovakian work camp at the height of the Cold War and that he once campaigned for the abolition of the monarchy.

Starmer was in the shadow Cabinet when Labour were found guilty of unlawful acts of antisemitic discrimination and harassment.

He has broke the MP’s code of conduct at least eight times in the last 5 years, having accepted substantially more free tickets and gifts than other major party leader since records began.

Keir is currently under investigation for potentially breaching parliamentary rules for accepting gifts.

This is the track record of a maverick. It is not normal to have so many touch-points with wrongdoing.
